Durham College

Durham College has invested in its faculty and community partners to develop applied research projects in social innovation/enterprise.  Eco-Ethonomics has been hired to design and deliver a workshop series in social innovation and social enterprise to assist faculty in developing their research ideas around persistent societal challenges.  The workshops   will be followed by further facilitation and support to assess the feasibility of each project, broker relationships with suitable partners and prepare several applied research grants for submission.  This project demonstrates Durham College’s commitment to developing a culture of social innovation among the faculty and creating practical learning opportunities for students.
