St. Leonard's Place Peel
We have worked with St. Leonard’s Place Peel to develop their social enterprise which offers cleaning, moving and lawn maintenance services across the Region of Peel. Our work began with a feasibility assessment and was followed by a three month business planning activity after the social enterprise had been in operation for several years. The research and planning process revealed numerous opportunities for business growth and development. Specifically sales opportunities with institutional customers became the clear target for the future of the enterprise. St. Leonard’s participated in several public tender processes and won several contracts for cleaning and moving services with the Region of Peel. Eco-Ethonomics Inc. assisted in the competition and negotiation of these contracts. St. Leonard’s just renewed its business plan after three years and Eco-Ethonomics facilitated the process with key staff in the organization. The new plan charts an exciting strategic path for the social purpose enterprise.
