Five County Food Hub
Eco-Ethonomics worked in collaboration with Eko Nomos to provide advisory services to develop a five county food hub that would aggregate, market and manage the supply and distribution of local food in a five county area. The participating counties included, Huron, Bruce, Grey, Wellington and Perth. Several open community meetings were held which were widely attended by key stakeholders. Collaborators from the five counties worked to prepare an application to the Local Food Fund, which was submitted with much public support in the form of letters from community members.
