Oxford County
Eco-Ethonomics and a team of associates worked with the eight municipalities in Oxford County to develop food security policy. The process for this community development work included over 30 key informant interviews, 8 town hall meetings and a presentation to Oxford County’s Council. The development process empowered each community to determine their own initiatives, policies and actions. Citizens, community groups and leaders, local food producers, businesses, local government officials were engaged in the process and action planning with volunteers followed.
