The County Foundation and the Vital Signs Food Security Working Group is interested in significantly reducing food insecurity in Hastings and Prince Edward County.  The Eco-Ethonomics Inc. team has been hired to help facilitate a collective impact process to develop new and effective ways of addressing this persistent problem which has been worsening over the last 5 years.  The project combines research and analysis of existing data, community asset mapping and a stakeholder engagement process that will engage community stakeholders in the development of a Theory of Change.  This project has been supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation and The County Foundation is currently serving as the backbone support organization for this project.
