Eco-Ethonomics and associates co-facilitated workshops on social enterprise development on behalf of the Toronto Enterprise Fund in 2010. An integral part of these workshops was human development planning for the business models being developed which would allow employees to transition into the mainstream workforce after learning the essential skills they needed.
United Way of Peel Region
Eco-Ethonomics has provided strategic advice to the United Way on their investment strategy around social enterprise development in the Region of Peel. Eco-Ethonomics is a social enterprise consultant that is regularly referred by the United Way to organizations. Eco-Ethonomics was hired by the United Way to deliver workshops on Social Enterprise development.
Grey Bruce Sustainability Network
Eco-Ethonomics and associates designed and facilitated a full day planning workshop with the Grey Bruce Sustainability Network and its members. The workshop was delivered in a way that was interactive and engaging for current and potential members. Several key initiatives were identified through this process that the network’s leadership planned to take forward.
Urbane Cyclist Cooperative
Eco-Ethonomics Inc. facilitated a full day team building session for the winter staff retreat. The day was filled with interactive exercises that promoted cooperative thinking and learning, and restored a sense of community and responsibility within the workplace. Staff ended the day with a creative group construction project and each was voted on by the group.
