Skills For Change Diversity Consulting Social Purpose Enterprise
Eco-Ethonomics Inc. facilitated a business planning process with Skills for Change for the purposes of competing in the Toronto Enterprise Fund business planning competition. The social purpose enterprise connected strongly with the agency’s mission and core competency of connecting immigrants to the labour market, while ensuring they get the most out of their work experience. The business proposition was to offer a suite of diversity training, mentorship and consulting services to corporations and public institutions to assist them in getting the most out of their increasingly diverse workforce. The agency surveyed potential customers, performed a competitor scan and researched the local market to build a case for the business concept. With a proven track record in performing diversity training and coordinating an annual diversity conference, Skills for Change was well positioned for success within the marketplace.
