University Health Network

University Health Network (UHN) is interested in bringing more local food to Ontario’s hospitals, outpatient facilities, and hospital visitors. Thus far, they have developed three variations of their social enterprise model to accomplish this objective and have done pre-feasibility work on each model. They have hired Eco-Ethonomics Inc. to conduct a feasibility study on each of these ideas. The feasibility study will be utilized to guide decision making on whether UHN will move forward with the social enterprise model.  The study weighs the risks, investment and market potential for each of the possible social enterprise models, while considering the social, environmental and health impacts on multiple stakeholders.
