Eco-Ethonomics and associates worked with the senior management to assess the feasibility of their e-waste recycling social enterprise operating in the Region of Peel.  The enterprise developed a revenue model that could generate revenue from both picking up e-waste and refurbishing computers for sale through their retail outlet.  Share-IT is a fully operational social enterprise that provides employment for new immigrants, offering them skill development and supplemental income.  The social enterprise model diverted harmful landfill, trained and gave vulnerable people employment opportunities, as well as, sold refurbished computers to low-income families at an affordable price.
