Riverdale Hub Event Space Social Purpose Enterprise
In the summer and fall of 2013, Eco-Ethonomics Inc. coached the internal management team and volunteers at Riverdale Hub to complete a business plan for the Toronto Enterprise Fund business planning competition. Eco-Ethonomics principal consultant led the team through market research, marketing planning, operational planning, human development planning, risk assessment and financial planning. The social purpose enterprise concept offers event space for rent which can be used by the community. The business employs newcomers and immigrants with different levels of capacity in order to assist them in accessing longer term, opportunities within the labour market. The outcome of the process was a high quality deliverable positioning the enterprise for success.
