The Canadian Mental Health Association is the lead agency in mental health services for families and individuals in Simcoe County. Eco-Ethonomics was hired by the Simcoe County Branch, to assist in the evaluation of the Urban Pantry Project. The Urban Pantry is a community collective that seeks to work together to implement and develop food growing and skill development initiatives, as well as work as an expansion of the Barrie Good Food Box, Cultivating Culture, FruitShare Barrie and Cooking UP programs. The evaluation will span over three years and assesses the success of the Pantry and its ability to provide services and programs for the community. The process will include evaluation and tool design, ongoing support for CMHA evaluation team, as well as, a summary report of key findings and recommendations.
