Environmental Defence
Eco-Ethonomics Inc. is working with Environmental Defence on their Eco-Beauty Markets project and assessing the feasibility of developing it into a social enterprise. The Eco-Beauty Markets currently is a spin off of a successful non-toxic pledge program that has drawn attention from producers of beauty products. Environmental Defence has been hosting market events where vendors are all self-declared for the past two years. Sales and participation have merited a more thorough exploration of the possibility in transforming the program into a longer-term sustainable model (i.e. a social enterprise).
