Evaluation and impact assessment is an area that we get excited about and are thrilled to be working in. In fact, we specialize in developmental evaluation, outcome-based evaluation, third-party evaluation, and overall organizational assessment. This means we get the chance to co-design and develop innovative evaluation frameworks and tools on a regular basis, and we couldn’t be more excited to share one of these with you.
Eco-Ethonomics worked with White Ribbon Canada and its National Community of Practice (NCoP) to develop a common evaluation framework focusing on engaging boys and men in gender-based violence prevention programming. This project, which encompassed the evaluation of nine innovative programs spread across Canada and the development of a national evaluation framework for the Community of Practice, saw the NCoP partner organizations contributing key evaluation documentation, program experience, and their understandings of the local context.
An initial evaluation needs assessment was also conducted with partner organizations to inform the development of the framework, and the resulting National Evaluation Framework aims to identify shared results across the programs as well as provide an evaluation resource tool for others undertaking leading edge gender-based violence prevention work. Please don’t hesitate to share your evaluation stories with us or reach out if you would like to discuss how we can help you to measure and grow your success.
