Eco-Ethonomics reviewed the business plan for Interim Place’s proposed catering social purpose enterprise and provided recommendations on key improvement areas.

Social Housing in Peel

Eco-Ethonomics reviewed the business plan for destination café, a social purpose enterprise, run by Social Housing in Peel (SHIP) and made recommendations on how business sales and its social outcomes could be simultaneously improved.

Madison Community Services

Eco-Ethonomics worked with the executive director of Madison Community Services to plan and develop a business concept for a painting service social purpose enterprise.  The organization’s leadership pulled together market research, performed a pricing comparison, drafted financials for three years and defined a competitive advantage for its market positioning.  The group produced a business plan for submission to the Toronto Enterprise Fund.

Perth County Visitor’s Association

Eco-Ethonomics conducted market research on behalf of the Perth County Visitor’s Association on artisan retails stores.  Learning from interviews was summarized in a report to the senior management to assist in improving sales and merchandising.

Kimbercote

Eco-Ethonomics Inc. worked with board and staff at Kimbercote retreat centre to develop a business plan which would help achieve the organizations goals and generate revenue to ensure the financial sustainability of the organization.

Willow Springs Creative Centre

Eco-Ethonomics Inc. worked with a team of staff and board members to identify promising social enterprise ideas and define a preliminary business concept for feasibility analysis.  Sessions included a productive brainstorming activities, clarifying organizational objectives and then vetting each idea to determine their potential, investment and level of risk.

Urban Arts

Eco-Ethonomics facilitated both a feasibility and business planning process with Urban Arts senior management and program staff for their social purpose enterprise called Beats.Mind.Movement.  The business employs youth to deliver mobile sound production workshops in schools and recreation centres across the GTA.  The process led to the development of a new sales and marketing strategy to achieve business objectives and detailed financial planning.

SKETCH

Eco-Ethonomics facilitated a feasibilty process with key staff, senior management, youth animators and external stakeholders to evaluate the viability of a youth centred social enterprise that would offer youth employment and training in arts facilitation and do-it-yourself art creation workshops.  The feasibility process was integrated with designing a new space for the organizations planned relocation to Artscape’s YOUNGPLACE on Shaw St., Toronto.

Healthkick Huron

Eco-Ethonomics and associates worked with the steering committee for HealthKicks in Huron County to develop a strategic plan for educating, training and recruiting new medical professionals to their Rural Community.  The exciting new model involved some really energetic individuals that were invested in developing the interest and capacity of young people in the medical profession while creating opportunities for employment in their area.  Eco-Ethonomics also worked with Healthkick on researching …Read More
